Can somebody come out to my plant to see my application?
February 4th, 2016We are located in Cambridge, Ontario. If you are also located in Southern Ontario, then it is possible to arrange a site visit. Prior to deciding to visit, we will discuss your application over the phone and possibly bounce some design ideas back and forth.
If you are not in our area, do not worry. We successfully help customers across Canada to design/develop solutions to their needs every day and will be happy to assist with your project.
Do you sell to the public?

There are a lot of components. Where do I start?
February 4th, 2016Our specialty is customer service. Please feel free to give us a call and let’s talk about what you are hoping to achieve. We can help you to narrow down the components that will work for your job, are in stock, and are the most cost effective.
How does MiniTec compare to other extrusion systems?
February 4th, 2016MiniTec is a premium line of t-slot aluminum extrusion. MiniTec extrusions are manufactured to a very high tolerance, which means that components and hardware fit and slide in the slot easily every time. MiniTec has a wide variety of components and accessories. It is priced competitively, and assembles quickly, which saves time and money. Because one fastener can assemble all of the profiles in a series, there are fewer parts to stock. Central Industrial backs MiniTec with friendly and helpful customer service, support and design assistance.
What if I don’t have a drawing?
February 4th, 2016No problem! Our engineering team can work with you to come up with a design to suit your needs. Typically, to start this process off, we ask that you provide a dimensioned hand sketch of what you are hoping to achieve. This helps us to all start from the same point.
Do you assemble?
February 4th, 2016Yes. We assemble everything from safety guarding, workstations, custom carts or dollies, linear slides, machine frames, and conveyors to name a few. Check out our applications section (link) to view some of our past projects and feel free to contact our sales team if you have any questions.
Do you install?
February 4th, 2016Unfortunately, we do not install. However, we often design projects in modular sections that are easy to fit together on-site. The bulk of the assembly can be done in our shop and final layout and installation is done by our customers.
Where do you sell within Canada?
February 4th, 2016We sell across Canada and have many customers from coast to coast. Give us a call to discuss your application and we can help you to determine what will be the most cost effective way to get material to your location.
What are the benefits of using MiniTec?
February 4th, 2016MiniTec is a comprehensive and high quality line of German-engineered aluminum extrusions and components.
The major benefit of the MiniTec line is the unique fastening system called the Power Lock (insert link to the Power Lock video) that assembles two profiles without any drilling. This system saves the end user time and money and allows the end product to be easily adjusted in the future.
The other benefit is that we stock a wide range of components and profiles, so most common applications can be made within a few days.
How can I purchase MiniTec Products?
February 4th, 2016We offer MiniTec in a variety of ways. We sell raw materials (full lengths or cases of profile and parts), cut-to size profile, ready-to-assemble kits for a specific project, or fully assembled projects. Larger projects sometimes ship more easily in modular flat panel sections that fit together on site. Our team can help you decide which method makes the most sense based on your needs and location.
What if I have custom requirements?
January 15th, 2016That’s our specialty. The majority of the work that we do is custom. Please reach out to us and our sales and engineering team can help you to determine your needs and get a design and quote to you.
